Jean-Pierre Kinet is the Managing Partner of iXLife Capital.  He is a co-founder, Board director, and member of the Scientific Committee of AB Science (Euronext: AB), and a founder of Astarix (acquired by Heska). Dr. Kinet is also a current Scientific Advisory Board member and prior Board Director of UCB Pharma.  Dr. Kinet is Professor of Pathology at Harvard Medical School and was the Director of the Division of Allergy and Immunology at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.  Previously he served as the Head of Molecular Allergy and Immunology at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases at the National Institutes of Health.  Dr. Kinet has authored over 200 publications, holds 10 issued patents, and is renowned for his cloning of the high affinity IgE receptor. He was a practicing physician and earned his medical degree (M.D.) from the University of Liège.
