Dr. Kinet is currently Professor of Pathology at Harvard Medical School and the Director of the Division of Allergy and Immunology at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He is a Director and member of the Scientific Committee of UCB, Scientific Founder of Astarix (acquired by Heska), and Director of Qualyst, in addition to other board memberships. Previously he served as the Head of the Molecular Allergy and Immunology section of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases at the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Kinet has authored over 170 publications, holds 10 issued patents, and is renowned for his cloning of the high-affinity IgE receptor. He is a former practicing physician and earned his medical degree (M.D.) from the University of Liège.
